AB 949, as introduced, Mullin. Community colleges: life science incubators.
Existing law establishes the California Community Colleges, under the administration of the Board of Governors of the California Community Colleges, as one of the segments of public postsecondary education in this state. Existing law establishes various programs for workforce development at campuses of the California Community Colleges, including the California Community Colleges Economic and Workforce Development Program and the Strong Workforce Program.
This bill would state the intent of the Legislature to enact subsequent legislation that fosters the establishment of life science incubators on community college campuses throughout California.

The people of the State of California do enact as follows:


SECTION 1.

 It is the intent of the Legislature to enact subsequent legislation that fosters the establishment of life science incubators on community college campuses throughout California.
