An act to amend Section 7147 of the Fish and Game Code, relating to fishing.


LEGISLATIVE COUNSEL'S DIGEST


AB 3072, as introduced, Bigelow. Commercial passenger fishing vessels: sport fishing licenses.
Existing law prohibits the owner or operator of a licensed commercial passenger fishing vessel from permitting any person to fish from that boat or vessel unless the person has in their possession a valid sport fishing license and any required license stamp, report card, or validation.
This bill would make nonsubstantive changes to this provision.

The people of the State of California do enact as follows:


SECTION 1.

 Section 7147 of the Fish and Game Code is amended to read:

7147.
 The owner or operator of a boat or vessel licensed pursuant to Section 7920 shall not permit any person to fish from that boat or vessel unless that person has, in his or her possession, has in their possession a valid California sport fishing license and any required stamp, report card, or validation issued pursuant to this code.
