An act relating to information security.

AB 2813, as introduced, Irwin. State government: information security.
Existing law establishes, within the Department of Technology, the Office of Information Security. The office’s purpose is to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of state systems and applications, and to promote and protect privacy as part of the development and operations of state systems and applications to ensure the trust of the residents of this state.
This bill would state the intent of the Legislature to enact legislation regarding the state’s information security practices.

The people of the State of California do enact as follows:


SECTION 1.

 It is the intent of the Legislature to enact legislation regarding the state’s information security practices.
