An act relating to fentanyl.

AB 2195, as introduced, Dixon. Fentanyl.
Existing law, the California Uniform Controlled Substances Act, classifies certain opioids, including fentanyl, as Schedule II drugs and generally prohibits the possession, sale, transportation, and use of these substances.
This bill would state the intent of the Legislature to enact legislation related to fentanyl.

The people of the State of California do enact as follows:


SECTION 1.

 It is the intent of the Legislature to enact legislation relating to fentanyl.
