AN ACT
making an appropriation for an evaluation of educational outcomes for foster children.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:
Section 1. Appropriation; department of education; evaluation; education outcomes of foster children
The sum of $100,000 is appropriated from the state general fund in fiscal year 2013-2014 to the department of education for distribution to a county school superintendent in a county with a population of at least eight hundred thousand persons but less than two million persons for the purpose of conducting an evaluation of a project to improve the educational outcomes of children in foster care.
