Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:
Section 1. Appropriations; department of transportation; Navajo Nation; capital outlay; exemption
A. The following sums are appropriated from the state general fund in fiscal year 2024-2025 to the department of transportation to distribute to the Navajo department of transportation for the following purposes:
1. $1,803,100 to grade, improve drainage on, install gravel on and stabilize Navajo Route 8070 in Rock Point.
2. $16,769,200 to improve Navajo Route 8090.
3. $5,000,000 for the Round Rock trading post redevelopment project.
4. $2,265,900 to improve Navajo Route 8077.
B. The appropriations made in subsection A of this section are exempt from the provisions of section 35-190, Arizona Revised Statutes, relating to lapsing of appropriations.
