HOUSE BILL 2661

 

 

 

AN ACT

 

amending title 35, chapter 3, Arizona Revised Statutes, by adding article 8; appropriating monies; relating to public indebtedness.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:

Section 1.  Title 35, chapter 3, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding article 8, to read:

ARTICLE 8.  AMORTIZATION OF PAYMENT DEFERRALS

START_STATUTE35-521.  Amortization of payment deferrals

In addition to any other monies appropriated, the following amounts must be included in the general appropriation act in fiscal years 2018-2019 through 2037-2038 to the following budget units for payment of payment deferrals made in prior fiscal years:

1.  $46,536,390 to the department of education.

2.  $3,738,020 to Arizona state university  ̶  Tempe and downtown Phoenix campuses.

3.  $287,510 to Arizona state university  ̶  East campus.

4.  $503,240 to Arizona state university  ̶  West campus.

5.  $1,524,740 to Northern Arizona university.

6.  $3,107,650 to university of Arizona  ̶  main campus.

7.  $838,840 to university of Arizona  ̶  health sciences center.

8.  $1,050,000 to the department of economic security.

9.  $550,000 to the department of child safety. END_STATUTE

Sec. 2.  Delayed repeal

Title 35, chapter 3, article 8, Arizona Revised Statutes, as added by this act, is repealed from and after September 30, 2040.
