AN ACT
amending section 22-320, Arizona Revised Statutes; relating to justice of the peace courts.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:
Section 1. Section 22-320, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended to read:
22-320. Trial by jury
A trial by jury shall be had if demanded by either the state or defendant at any time before commencement of the trial. Unless the demand is made at least five days before commencement of the trial, a trial by jury shall be deemed waived.
