An Act
appropriating monies to the department of administration.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:
Section 1. Appropriation; department of administration; astronomy discovery center; exemption
A. The sum of $14,000,000 is appropriated from the monies allocated to this state from the state general fund in fiscal year 2023-2024 to the department of administration to distribute to Lowell Observatory in Flagstaff for an astronomy discovery center. Monies distributed pursuant to this subsection must be used for capital costs.
B. Notwithstanding section 41-1252, Arizona Revised Statutes, the appropriation made in subsection A of this section is not subject to review by the joint committee on capital review.
