AN ACT

 

amending section 13‑121, Arizona Revised Statutes; relating to court jurisdiction.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:

Section 1.  Section 13-121, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended to read:

START_STATUTE13-121.  Jurisdiction of the court in proceedings subsequent to trial and sentencing

Whenever any further proceedings are instituted before the trial court subsequent to the original trial and sentencing, excepting motions for new trial made within one year after the rendition of the verdict or the finding of the court, the court in the same action shall have jurisdiction to hear such the matter only after due proof has been made that notice of such the proceeding has been given to the attorney general at least ten twenty days prior to such before the hearing.
