AN ACT

 

amending Title 15, chapter 7, article 1, Arizona Revised Statutes, by adding section 15-720.02; relating to school curriculum.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:

Section 1.  Title 15, chapter 7, article 1, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 15-720.02, to read:

START_STATUTE15-720.02.  Pupils; food handler's card or certificate; identification

Notwithstanding section 41‑1080, if a county or other governmental entity requires a person who is handling food, preparing food or supervising food preparation to obtain a food handler's card or certificate, a pupil who is handling food, preparing food or supervising food preparation as a classroom activity or as part of a school‑sponsored extracurricular activity shall not be required to furnish any additional identification to the county or governmental entity other than the identification issued by that school.
