HOUSE BILL 2167

 

 

 

AN ACT

 

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE client DEVELOPMENTAL DISABility SERVICES TRUST FUND.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:

Section 1.  Appropriation; client developmental disability services trust fund; intent

A.  Notwithstanding Laws 2014, second special session, chapter 2, section 7, the first $100,000 in the long-term care system fund established by section 36-2953, Arizona Revised Statutes, that is unexpended and unencumbered at the end of fiscal year 2014-2015 is transferred to the client developmental disability services trust fund established by section 36‑572, Arizona Revised Statutes, subject to approval by the Arizona health care cost containment system administration.

B.  It is the intent of the legislature that the appropriation in subsection A of this section be made to partially replace monies swept from the funds used to provide services to clients with developmental disabilities in fiscal years 2007‑2008 and 2008‑2009.
