AN ACT

 

amending Title 16, chapter 4, article 9, Arizona Revised Statutes, by adding section 16-567; relating to polling place procedures.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:

Section 1.  Title 16, chapter 4, article 9, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 16-567, to read:

START_STATUTE16-567.  Polling places; law enforcement officers

The county recorder or other officer in charge of elections shall provide for a law enforcement officer to be posted at or inside each polling place or other voting location for the primary and general elections. END_STATUTE
