FISCAL NOTE
Senate Bill 260 as introduced, amended, and reported by the Committee on Fiscal Responsibility and Economic Development could further delay potential increases in ad valorem tax receipts generated from a Tax Increment Financing district to state and local governments, resulting from the continuation of an expiring Tax Increment Financing district, or the amendment of a project plan for a TIF district, which may, pursuant to this bill, continue without re-determination of its assessed value.
This bill will not otherwise affect state or local funding.
