FISCAL NOTE

House Bill 382 as introduced increases the rate at which a member of the Alabama Board of Athletic Trainers may be compensated from $50 to $100 for each day spent in the performance of their duties, which would increase the expenditures from the Athletic Trainers Fund by a Board-estimated maximum of $2,000 annually.

Further, this bill establishes the Advisory Council of the State Board of Medical Examiners and the Alabama State Board of Athletic Trainers, which would increase the expenditures from the Athletic Trainers Fund and the State Board of Medical Examiners’ Fund to compensate members of the Council by $300 per meeting, respectively, of the Advisory Council and by an additional undetermined amount for subsistence and travel costs reimbursed to the respective members of the Advisory Council and to provide clerical and administrative support by an undetermined amount.
