FISCAL NOTE

Senate Bill 142 as passed the Senate provides that the Department of Public Health has no regulatory authority over micro markets, vending machines, or the food or beverage sold therein and that micro markets and vending machines shall be regulated by the Department of Agriculture and Industries, which would increase the obligations of the Department of Agriculture and Industries by an undetermined amount dependent upon the regulatory measures established by the Department of Agriculture and Industries.
