A BILL to amend the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, by adding thereto a new section, designated §18-5-18f, relating to establishing vocational-technical programs in middle schools.
Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:
ARTICLE 5. COUNTY BOARD OF EDUCATION.
§18-5-18f. Vocational-technical education in middle school.
Subject to the availability of funds, county boards of education shall establish and maintain, by the school year 2020-2021, and thereafter, vocational-technical education programs, including introductory vocational-technical courses, for middle school grades.
NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to require county boards of education shall establish and maintain, by the school year 2020-2021, and thereafter, vocational-technical education programs.
