A BILL to amend and reenact §64-9-1 of the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, relating to authorizing the State Treasurer to promulgate a legislative rule relating to enforcement of the Uniform Unclaimed Property Act.
Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:
ARTICLE 9. Authorization for State treasurer to promulgate legislative rules.
§64-9-1. State Treasurer.
The legislative rule filed in the State Register on July 29, 2022, authorized under the authority of §36-8-28 of this code, modified by the State Treasurer to meet the objections of the Legislative Rule-Making Review Committee and refiled in the State Register on September 15, 2022, relating to the State Treasurer (enforcement of the Uniform Unclaimed Property Act, 112 CSR 05), is authorized.
NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to authorize the State Treasurer to promulgate a legislative rule relating to enforcement of the Uniform Unclaimed Property Act.
