A BILL to amend the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, by adding thereto a new section, designated §18-2-7d, relating to requiring the State Board of Education to develop a program of instruction on home maintenance for the elderly and the disabled.
Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:
ARTICLE 2. STATE BOARD OF EDUCATION.
§18-2-7d. Program on home maintenance.
The state board shall develop a program of instruction on home maintenance with the objective of assisting the elderly and the disabled to maintain the exterior premises of their homes be integrated into the curriculum as a new course or as part of an appropriate existing course or courses for students in secondary schools.
NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to require the State Board of Education to develop a program of instruction on home maintenance for the elderly and the disabled.
