A BILL to amend and reenact §64-9-1 of the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, relating to authorizing the Board of Medicine to promulgate a legislative rule relating to licensure, disciplinary and complaint procedures, continuing education and physician assistants.
Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:
That §64-9-1 of the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, be amended and reenacted to read as follows:
ARTICLE 9. Authorization for miscellaneous agencies and boards to promulgate legislative rules.
§64-9-1. Board of Medicine.
The legislative rule filed in the State Register on July 12, 2016, authorized under the authority of section three, article three-e, chapter thirty of this code, modified by the Board of Medicine to meet the objections of the Legislative Rule-making Review Committee and refiled in the State Register on September 1, 2016, relating to the Board of Medicine (Licensure, Disciplinary and Complaint Procedures, Continuing Education, Physician Assistants, 11 CSR 1B), is authorized.
NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to authorize the Board of Medicine to promulgate a legislative rule relating to Licensure, Disciplinary and Complaint Procedures, Continuing Education, Physician Assistants.
