A BILL making a supplementary appropriation of public moneys out of the Treasury from the balance of moneys remaining as an unappropriated surplus balance in the Excess Lottery Fund, to the Department of Health and Human Resources, Division of Health – Central Office, fund 0407, fiscal year 2019, organization 0506, by supplementing and amending the appropriations for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2019.
Whereas, The state budget that became law without the Governor’s signature for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2019, severely underfunded the CARDIAC Project; and
Whereas, The CARDIAC Project has been instrumental in reducing the cost of healthcare to the state; and
Whereas, The state should continue to fund the CARDIAC Project; therefore
Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:
That the total appropriation for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2019, to Fund 0407, fiscal year 2017, organization 0506, be supplemented and amended by adding a new item of appropriation as follows:
Title II – Appropriations.
