A BILL to amend and reenact §64-10-1 of the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, relating to authorizing the Office of Miners' Health, Safety and Training to promulgate a legislative rule relating to Governing the Safety of Those Employed in and Around Surface Mines in West Virginia.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:


ARTICLE 10. Authorization for Department of Commerce to promulgate legislative rules.

§64-10-1. Miners’Health, Safety and Training.

The legislative rule filed in the State Register on June 11, 2021, authorized under the authority of §22A-1-42 of this code, modified by the Office of Miners' Health, Safety And Training to meet the objections of the Legislative Rule-Making Review Committee and refiled in the State Register on August 24, 2021, relating to the Office Miners' Health, Safety And Training (Rule Governing the Safety of Those Employed in and Around Surface Mines in West Virginia, 56 CSR 03), is authorized.
