A BILL to amend and reenact §64-9-1 of the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, relating to authorizing the West Virginia Board of Barbers and Cosmetologists to promulgate a legislative rule relating to the application for waiver of initial licensure fees for certain individuals.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:

ARTICLE 9. Authorization for miscellaneous boards and agencies to promulgate legislative rules.

§64-9-1. West Virginia Board of Barbers and Cosmetologists.

The legislative rule filed in the State Register on June 14, 2023, authorized under the authority of §30-1-23 of this code, modified by the West Virginia Board of Barbers and Cosmetologists to meet the objections of the Legislative Rule-Making Review Committee and refiled in the State Register on August 24, 2023, relating to the West Virginia Board of Barbers and Cosmetologists (application for waiver of initial licensure fees for certain individuals, 3 CSR 15), is authorized.
