A BILL to amend the Code of West Virginia,1931, as amended, by adding thereto a new section, designated §18B-14-4, relating to requiring universities in this state to accept vaccine exemptions for religious, medical, or right or conscience.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:

 

ARTICLE 14. vaccination exemption.

§18B-14-4.  Requirement that Universities accept religious, medical, or right of conscience exemptions to taking vaccinations.

All universities in this state shall accept vaccine exemptions for religious, medical, or right of conscience for any student attending or living on campus.

 

NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to require universities to accept exemptions to vaccinations in addition to the medical exemptions.
