A BILL to amend the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, by adding thereto a new section, designated §5-5-4b, relating to providing a one-time salary increase of $1,500 for any Department of Health and Human Resources employee with a salary less than $50,000.
Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:
That the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, be amended by adding thereto a new section, designated §5-5-4b, to read as follows:
ARTICLE 5. SALARY INCREASES FOR STATE EMPLOYEES.
§5-5-4b. Department of Health and Human Resources one-time salary increase for certain employees.
Effective July 1, 2015, all current Department of Health and Human Resources employees who earn a salary of less than $50,000 a year shall receive a one-time, across-the-board salary increase of $1,500.
NOTE: This purpose of this bill is to give a $1,500 salary increase to Department of Health and Human Resources employees who earn less than $50,000 a year.
