The Committee on Energy and Manufacturing moves to amend the bill on page 2, section 10, on line 42, after the first word "for" by striking the words "permit major modifications" and inserting in lieu thereof the words "major permit modifications";

On page 2, section 10, on line 42, after the second word "for" by striking the words "permit minor modifications" and inserting in lieu thereof the words "minor permit modifications";

And,

On page 3, section 10, beginning on line 50, by striking the sentence:

"On July 1, 2022, and each year thereafter, a $500 fee for an application for the water quality certification that seeks certification of activities covered by the United States Army Corps of Engineers permits issued in accordance with 33 U.S.C. §1344 and 33 C.F.R. Parts 323 or 330 may be issued a certification in accordance with the legislative rules entitled Rules for Individual State Certification of Activities Requiring a Federal Permit, 47 C.F.R. 5A.";

and inserting in lieu thereof the sentence:

"Beginning July 1, 2022, and each year thereafter, an application for a water quality certification for activities covered by United States Army Corps of Engineers permits issued pursuant to 33 U.S.C. §1344 and 33 C.F.R. Parts 323 or 330, in accordance with the legislative rules entitled Rules for Individual State Certification of Activities Requiring a Federal Permit, 47 C.F.R. 5A, must be accompanied by a $500 fee."
