WHEREAS, Trevor Bryan Brown, an honorable veteran, esteemed member of the Sterling Volunteer Fire Company of the Loudoun County Combined Fire and Rescue System, and a beloved husband, father, and member of the Ashburn community, died in the line of duty on February 16, 2024; and
WHEREAS, Trevor Brown served his country with honor and distinction as a member of the United States Marine Corps; and
WHEREAS, Trevor Brown joined the Loudoun County Combined Fire and Rescue System in 2016 and for several years dedicated himself to ensuring the safety and security of the county's residents and visitors; and
WHEREAS, Trevor Brown embodied the highest ideals of fatherhood in his life and was deeply committed to supporting his wife and family and to raising and caring for his children; and
WHEREAS, Trevor Brown gave generously of his time to promote the health and well-being of young people in the community as a volunteer soccer coach and baseball coach; and
WHEREAS, on February 20, 2024, first responders and other members of the community gathered along a processional route from Prince William County to Loudoun County to honor Trevor Brown's life and legacy; and
WHEREAS, Trevor Brown will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by his loving wife; his three children; his parents; and numerous other family members and friends; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED by the Senate, the House of Delegates concurring, That the General Assembly hereby note with great sadness the loss of Trevor Bryan Brown, a cherished member of the Ashburn and Sterling communities whose heroism and sacrifice will never be forgotten; and, be it
RESOLVED FURTHER, That the Clerk of the Senate prepare a copy of this resolution for presentation to the family of Trevor Bryan Brown as an expression of the General Assembly's respect for his memory.
