HOUSE RESOLUTION NO. 79
Commending the Stafford County Public Schools Teachers of the Year.
 
Agreed to by the House of Delegates, February 12, 2024
 

WHEREAS, the Stafford County Public Schools Teachers of the Year are educators who embrace the vital role teachers play in our communities as they guide the intellectual, social, and emotional growth of our young people; and

WHEREAS, Stafford County has benefitted greatly from the work of the educators recently recognized as the Stafford County Public Schools (SCPS) Teachers of the Year, a cadre of exceptional educators who tirelessly pursue excellence both in the classroom and beyond; and

WHEREAS, the SCPS Teachers of the Year exemplify the qualities of great educators and are steadfast advocates for their students, inspiring and encouraging them to reach their potential and achieve their dreams; and

WHEREAS, the SCPS Teachers of the Year are consistently improving and honing their approach to education to meet the needs of their classrooms, while fostering positive and meaningful relationships with students, parents, and colleagues; and

WHEREAS, the SCPS Teachers of the Year have been an integral part of what makes Stafford County a wonderful place to live, work, and raise a family; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED by the House of Delegates, That the Stafford County Public Schools Teachers of the Year hereby be commended for their efforts to educate Stafford County's students and to prepare them for future success both in and out of the classroom; and, be it

RESOLVED FURTHER, That the Clerk of the House of Delegates prepare a copy of this resolution for presentation to the Stafford County Public Schools Teachers of the Year as an expression of the House of Delegates' admiration for their contributions to Stafford County and the Commonwealth.
