WHEREAS, the Toddler Time Child Development Center, a distinguished institution in Portsmouth dedicated to providing working parents with quality and reliable child care in a safe and loving space, celebrates its 30th anniversary in 2024; and

WHEREAS, established in 1994 as a licensed in-home day care, the Toddler Time Child Development Center cultivates a learning environment for children that sparks their curiosity, bolsters their confidence, and fosters their social and emotional well-being; and

WHEREAS, the Toddler Time Child Development Center encourages its staff to pursue their goals and thrive through professional development activities, tuition assistance, and Employee of the Month recognitions; and

WHEREAS, beyond its child care services, the Toddler Time Child Development Center plays a pivotal role in both bringing the community together and promoting awareness of important issues by hosting meetings of the Wilson Ward/Gosport Civic League; and

WHEREAS, the Toddler Time Child Development Center's impact is felt not only through the difference it makes in the lives of the children it serves but through the many charitable initiatives it spearheads to assist the center's neighbors in need; and

WHEREAS, the accomplishments of the Toddler Time Child Development Center are the result of the hard work, dedication, and compassion of the center's leadership and staff and the unwavering support of the community it serves; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED by the House of Delegates, That the Toddler Time Child Development Center hereby be commended on the occasion of its 30th anniversary; and, be it

RESOLVED FURTHER, That the Clerk of the House of Delegates prepare a copy of this resolution for presentation to the Toddler Time Child Development Center as an expression of the House of Delegates' admiration for the organization's contributions to the safety and success of the Commonwealth's young people.
