Commending Grayson Alexander Hull.

WHEREAS, Grayson Alexander Hull, a sophomore in high school and former member of Boy Scout Troop 17, became an Eagle Scout on August 31, 2012; and

WHEREAS, Grayson Hull, the son of Ed and Sherry Hull, participated in the Boy Scout program in Franklin for many years; and

WHEREAS, Grayson Hull attended four years of Resident Summer Camp at Bayport Scout Reservation, camped 44 nights with the troop, and logged 69.5 service hours; and

WHEREAS, Grayson Hull gained important leadership skills as he served Boy Scout Troop 17 as patrol quartermaster, patrol leader, senior patrol leader, and assistant patrol leader; and

WHEREAS, in 2011, Grayson Hull was elected into the Order of the Arrow, attended the Ordeal, and became a Brotherhood member of Wahunsenakah Lodge; and

WHEREAS, a dedicated Scout, Grayson Hull received the Jackson Clarke Fox Merit Badge Achievement Award for earning the most merit badges in 2011; he also received the Religious Emblem in 2012; and

WHEREAS, for his Eagle Scout project, Grayson Hull decided to refurbish flowerbeds at Emmanuel Episcopal Church on High Street in the City of Franklin; and

WHEREAS, Grayson Hull worked with Emmanuel Episcopal Church to create a visually appealing addition to its outdoor landscape, which will continue to be enjoyed by members and visitors in the future; and

WHEREAS, an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Scout, Grayson Hull made many valuable contributions to Boy Scout Troop 17 while a member; and

WHEREAS, Grayson Hull remains committed to his studies at school and enjoys playing football and lifting weights; and

WHEREAS, an outstanding young man, Grayson Hull personifies the ideals of the Boy Scouts and provided valuable community service to Emmanuel Episcopal Church in the City of Franklin through his Eagle Scout project; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED by the House of Delegates, That Grayson Alexander Hull hereby be commended on attaining the rank of Eagle Scout; and, be it

RESOLVED FURTHER, That the Clerk of the House of Delegates prepare a copy of this resolution for presentation to Grayson Alexander Hull as an expression of the House of Delegates' congratulations and admiration for his achievements and service to the community.
