AMENDMENT IN THE NATURE OF A SUBSTITUTE
(Proposed by the House Committee on Health and Human Services
on January 25, 2024)

A BILL to direct the Board of Health to adopt regulations to include alpha-gal syndrome on the list of diseases that shall be required to be reported in accordance with §32.1-35 of the Code of Virginia.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. §1. That the Board of Health shall adopt regulations to include alpha-gal syndrome on the list of diseases that shall be required to be reported in accordance with §32.1-35 of the Code of Virginia.

2. That the provisions of this act shall become effective on July 1, 2025.
