Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That the Code of Virginia is amended by adding a section numbered 10.1-202.3 as follows:

§10.1-202.3. Access fees; Virginia National Guard and Virginia Air National Guard.

The Department shall establish a policy that entitles (i) the bearer of acceptable identification showing that the person is an active duty member of the Virginia National Guard or the Virginia Air National Guard and (ii) the spouse and dependents of such person, when accompanying the bearer of such identification, to enter Virginia's state parks without having to pay an admittance or parking fee.
