Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That the Code of Virginia is amended by adding in Chapter 4 of Title 35.1 a section numbered 35.1-26.1 as follows:

§35.1-26.1. Certified food protection manager; exemption.

No food establishment that is exempt from taxation under §501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code shall be required to employ a certified food protection manager.
