Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1.  § 1. That the Secretary of Public Safety shall work together with the Secretary of Health and Human Resources to identify and develop recommendations for statutory, regulatory, and other changes necessary to prepare the Commonwealth to take advantage of opportunities to improve prisoner reentry services afforded by the Second Chance Act, P.L. 110-199 (2008), and to report such recommendations to the General Assembly no later than October 31, 2010.
