Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. §1. The Superintendent of State Police shall amend 19VAC30-70 to require official safety inspection stations to include on official safety inspection approval/rejection receipts a notice substantially as follows: "WARNING: Inspection of sun-shading or tinting films that have been applied to windows is not included in the motor vehicle safety inspection. Any tinting may not be within the legal range established pursuant to § 46.2-1052 of the Code of Virginia, and a law-enforcement officer may stop and issue a citation to the driver of a motor vehicle not in compliance with that section."
