Summary

Virginia Water and Waste Authorities Act. Provides that each political subdivision may adopt, after a public hearing, an ordinance requiring the delivery of all or any portion of the refuse generated or collected within such political subdivision to the refuse collection and disposal system of the authority. The bill also provides that the exercise of such aforementioned power or other certain powers shall not be deemed to cause displacement under the provisions of ยง 15.2-930, 15.2-934, or 15.2-5121.
