Summary

Defrauding certain businesses; penalty. Provides that failure to pay for services or to obtain credit from a barbershop, body-piercing salon, cosmetology salon, esthetics spa, nail salon, tattoo parlor, waxing salon, or massage therapist with the intent to cheat or defraud the owner or service provider is a Class 1 misdemeanor if the value of the service is less than $200 and a Class 5 felony if the value of the service is $200 or more.
