Summary
Excise tax on peanuts. Extends from July 1, 2016, to July 1, 2021, the sunset of the $0.30 per 100 pounds excise tax on all peanuts grown in and sold in Virginia. The proceeds from the tax are used for promoting the sales and use of Virginia peanuts.
