Summary

Umbilical cord blood education. Requires the Commissioner of Health to make information relating to umbilical cord blood developed by the Parent's Guide to Cord Blood Foundation available to the public on a website maintained by the Department of Health. This bill also requires health care practitioners who provide prenatal care to make information about umbilical cord blood available to every pregnant patient prior to the beginning of the patient's third trimester of pregnancy or at the time of the patient's first visit, whichever is later.
