Summary

Intellectual property created by state employees. Adds new reporting requirements for agencies that seek patent protection or seek to license or transfer any interest in intellectual property developed by state employees. The bill also makes several technical changes to the requirements of the intellectual property policy developed by the Secretary of Administration. To accommodate the technical changes, the bill also extends the reporting deadline for the Secretary of Administration in developing a statewide policy and guidelines.
