Summary

Public schools; individual school performance grading system. Requires the Board of Education, by July 31, 2013, to approve student growth indicators for use in the accreditation of schools and the evaluation of teachers. The bill also defines "student growth" and requires the Board, by October 1, 2014, to report individual school performance using an A-to-F grading system that includes the standards of accreditation, state and federal accountability requirements, and student growth indicators.
