Summary

Virginia Public Procurement Act; exemptions; Department of Conservation and Recreation. Exempts the Department of Conservation and Recreation from the provisions of the Virginia Public Procurement Act for the purchase of items for resale at state park gift shops, camp stores, snack bars, restaurants, and similar retail outlets operated on the premises of such state parks. The bill provides that such purchase procedures shall provide for competition wherever practicable.
