Summary

Nurse practitioners. Allows a nurse practitioner to testify as an expert witness in a court of law on certain matters within the scope of his activities and adds nurse practitioner to the definition of "health care provider" under the medical malpractice statutes. The bill clarifies that its provisions are not a codification of Rule 702 of the Federal Rules of Evidence.
