Summary

A bill to prohibit the United States Government from making cash payments to state sponsors of terrorism, and for other purposes. This bill prohibits the U.S. government from providing monetary instruments or precious metals to a government of a state sponsor of terrorism or an agent acting on behalf of such government. The bill applies such prohibition to the government of North Korea or an agent acting on its behalf until the President certifies that North Korea has met the criteria for ending sanctions against it under the North Korea Sanctions and Policy Enhancement Act of 2016.
