Summary

VEI Act of 2016 Veterans Education Improvement Act of 2016 This bill permits veterans to use Department of Veterans Affairs post-9/11 educational assistance for an accredited independent study program leading to a certificate that reflects completion of a course of study offered by at an educational institution that is not an institution of higher learning, such as an area career and technical education school providing postsecondary level education.
