Summary

Federal Correctional Officer Protective Equipment Act of 2011 - Directs the Bureau of Prisons to conduct a pilot program to determine the effectiveness of the routine issuance of Oleoresin Capsicum spray (pepper spray) to staff. Directs the Comptroller General to report on an evaluation of such pilot program and on tools to improve officer safety in federal prisons.
