Summary

Expressing the sense of the House of Representatives that the United States should continue to authorize cash flow financing to Egypt and expand other areas of cooperation. Declares that the House of Representatives: reaffirms its commitment to the U.S.-Egypt alliance and to the importance of the United States providing a $10 billion loan guarantee for five years, sends its thoughts and prayers to the victims of terrorism in Egypt, stands with the people and the government of Egypt in the face of terrorism, stresses the importance of continuing to provide Egypt with the current levels of military assistance, and supports greater academic cooperation between the United States and Egypt. Calls for: an increase to pre-FY2009 levels of U.S. economic aid to Egypt; the President to reinstate cash flow financing to Egypt in 2018 and afterwards; and the expansion of the Qualified Industrial Zones Program.
