Summary

To urge the President to direct the United States representative to the United Nations to use the voice and vote of the United States to hold the United Nations and its member states accountable for allegations of sexual abuse and exploitation by United Nations peacekeepers. Condemns all forms of sexual abuse and exploitation perpetrated by United Nations (U.N.) peacekeepers. Urges the President to direct the U.S. representative to the U.N. to use the voice and vote of the United States to: (1) confront the issue of sexual abuse and exploitation within the U.N., (2) establish a clear policy to hold troop-contributing countries accountable, and (3) assist the U.N. in providing victims justice. Calls for other member states and troop-contributing countries to fully investigate allegations of sexual abuse and exploitation by peacekeepers and to take appropriate actions to bring perpetrators to justice.
