Summary
Increases Medicaid disproportionate share hospital (DSH) allotments for FY2020 and for the duration of the public health emergency relating to COVID-19 (i.e., coronavirus disease 2019). (DSHs are hospitals that receive additional payment under Medicaid for treating a large share of low-income patients.)
Title
To amend title XIX of the Social Security Act to provide for a temporary increase in Medicaid DSH allotments during the COVID-19 emergency period, and for other purposes.
