Summary

Establishes a Southwest Border Region Water Task Force to assess the water needs of communities in the southwest border region (i.e., specified counties of Arizona, California, New Mexico, and Texas) and to make proposals for meeting those needs not being met. Directs the Task Force to establish procedures for: (1) determining the relative priority of water projects in the region; and (2) coordinating the policies and activities of the entities comprising the Task Force relating to meeting the region's water needs.
